Our Leaders are every parent that wants their Scout to learn more about himself and provide a better community and environment for the future. All adults and Boy Scouts are considered “Leaders” in a Cub Scout Pack. We refer to a leader as “Akela”. Akela represents wisdom, unity and authority. Sir Robert Baden-Powell, the founder of the Scouting movement, chose Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book as a source of symbolism and allegorical framework for the youngest members of the Scouting movement. |
