Our Leaders

Our Leaders are every parent that wants their Scout to learn more about himself and provide a better community and environment for the future. Our Leaders may not have any other “title” except that of Mom or Dad. For the Leaders/Parents that want the best for their Scout and the Pack, we have bestowed upon them the following titles and responsibilities:

All adults and Boy Scouts are considered “Leaders” in a Cub Scout Pack. We refer to a leader as “Akela”. Akela represents wisdom, unity and authority. Sir Robert Baden-Powell, the founder of the Scouting movement, chose Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book as a source of symbolism and allegorical framework for the youngest members of the Scouting movement.
