Pack 300 Information
|Cub Scout Pack 300 adheres to the guidelines and regulations of the Boy Scouts of America for a quality youth program.Cub Scouting means “doing.” Everything in Cub Scouting is designed to have the boys doing things. Activities are used to achieve the aims of Scouting—citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness. Many of the activities happen right in the den and pack.
| History: Pack 300 was originally organized in 1997 by Dr. Elvin Heiberg whose family has been a part of the Scouting program in Northfield since 1912. Dr. Heiberg has since retired from Scouting although he remains a strong advocate for the Boy Scouts of America. He resides in Northfield and is known for assisting the Boy and Cubs Scouts in the area when called upon.
